Blue and Gold drop third-straight game

The field hockey
team lost 4–1 to unbeaten Wooster College yesterday. It was the Bombers’
fifth-consecutive road game.
The Blue and Gold got their first and only goal in the first half. Freshman midfielder Jessica Dillon scored on an assist from junior forward Katherine Brown. Dillon leads the team with four goals on the season.
Senior goalkeeper Courtney Dowell played the first half, making six saves while senior Chelsea Welsh played the second half and made eight saves.
The Bombers return to Yavits Field at 1 p.m. Saturday with a game against Hartwick College.
