Bombers take down Brockport

The field hockey
team defeated SUNY-Brockport 3–0 today. The Bombers scored twice in the first
half and added another in the second to earn the win.
Senior goalkeeper Courtney Dowell made three saves and got her first shutout of the season while senior midfielder Annie Onzik scored two goals.
The Blue and Gold earned their first goal when sophomore forward Jessica Dillon scored in the 11th minute of the game. It was her third goal in the last two games. Junior forward Katherine Brown got the assist and also helped Onzik score on a penalty corner in the 19th minute.
Onzik scored her second goal off of a penalty corner in the 48th minute. Junior back Mia Muzio picked up the assist.
The Bombers play again at 5 p.m. Wednesday at William Smith College.
