Council affirms confidentiality
November 12th, 2009
Regarding your Nov. 5 story, “Faculty Council acts on concerns about provost,” Faculty Council passed the following motion at its Nov. 10 meeting:
Council deplores that matters discussed in executive session of Faculty Council were leaked. We value executive session for discussing sensitive issues, including personnel matters and reaffirm council’s commitment that items discussed in executive session will be held confidential in the future.
