The men's basketball dropped its second consecutive game for only the second time this season as the Bombers fell to Rochester Institute of Technology 77–73 today on the road.
The Bombers rallied late in the game, scoring 13 points in the last two minutes of the game, but it wasn't enough for the comeback.
Freshman Andrei Oztemel drained a three-pointer with 17 seconds left to cut the Tigers' lead to two. The Bombers were forced to foul and the Tigers hit their free throws to make it a two-possession game.
Junior Phil Barera earned a double-double while picking up 21 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.
Oztemel and Rossi also reached double figures with 18 and 13 points, respectively. Rossi had a game-high nine assists.
The Bombers look to bounce back as they take on Alfred University at 8 p.m. Friday in Alfred, N.Y.
