In a meet against five other schools Saturday, the men’s crew emerged victorious in the first novice 8 race.
The Bombers finished second in the morning varsity 8 behind Hobart College with a time of 6:44.7 seconds. In the afternoon varsity 8, they came in second place behind Marist College.
The team’s first win came in the morning novice 8 race with a time of 7:10, beating Marist by more than 30 seconds. In the afternoon novice 8, they finished third behind Trinity College and Cornell University.
The Bombers also finished behind the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the novice 4 race, with a time of 8:36.8 seconds.
The next meet for the men’s crew will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cayuga Lake against the Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester.
