Blue and Gold place eighth at ECACs

The article has been corrected accordingly.The men’s crew concluded another solid season Sunday with a top 10 finish at the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championship regatta in Worcester, Mass. The Bombers placed eighth out of 20 teams in the standings with 37 points on the men’s side and second in overall men’s and women’s points with 102 points total.
The Bombers completed the varsity eight petite final in 6:03.675, second only to Bucknell University. Ithaca finished the novice eight petite final in 6:27.053, good for third behind the University of New Hampshire and St. Lawrence University. The Bombers finished the second varsity eight petite in 6:26.784, third behind Bates College and the University of Rhode Island.
The Bombers finished seventh overall at the ECAC regatta for the second time in three years, with last year’s meet having been cut short by high winds.
