Blue and Gold fall in championship game to Stevens, 5-4

The men’s tennis team fell to Stevens Institute of Techology 5–4 in the Empire 8 Championship game yesterday.Sophomore Liam Berkowitz was a doubles winner, earning a 6–2, 6–2 victory at the fifth singles spot, and pairing with senior Jeff Buffum to take an 8–5 win at the third doubles spot. That win gave Buffum his 76th career win, which moves him to eighth on the all-time victories list at Ithaca College.
Sophomores Taylor Borda and Danny Wolk were victorious in doubles action, as were freshmen Alex Stoler and Josh Rifkin.
The Bombers finish the season with a 12–8 overall record and will return all but one starter next season.
