The Bombers only lost one point in the singles competition, winning each of their points in straight sets. Junior Taylor Borda came out strong in first singles winning 6–0, 6–0, with sophomore Josh Rifkin winning his point 6–1, 6–1 in second singles. Freshman Jimmy Newton worked hard to win 6–2, 6–2 while junior Danny Wolk won his match 6–4, 4–0 after his opponent conceded the point because of an injury in the second set. Freshmen Dan Levine and Zach Stern wrapped up singles competition with Levine winning 6–0, 6–2, while Stern lost in a tiebreak 6–3, 3–6, 11–9.
In doubles competition, Borda and Rifkin continued their success with an 8–1 win, posting the only point the Bombers won in doubles. This tandem of Borda and Rifkin is currently ranked 12th in the Northeast Region for men’s doubles, with this win bringing their overall record to 10–2 in dual matches.
Freshmen Mike Muraco and Newton put up a fight, coming from behind back to tie it up, before losing in a close 9–7 outcome. Sophomore Dan Adelman and Wolk concluded doubles competition dropping their point 8–2. This win brings the team’s overall record to 10–3.
