Pat Nally, assistant to the dean of the School of Business, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at her home. Funeral services for Nally are scheduled at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the First Baptist Church in Trumansburg, N.Y. Calling hours are scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight.
Nally worked in the School of Business since 1985.
“She was the rock of the School of Business, and she held it together,” Susan Engelkemeyer, former dean of the School of Business who worked closely with Nally for four years, said.
Engelkemeyer said Nally “never seemed to have a bad day.”
“She was one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met,” Engelkemeyer said. “She was kind, considerate, dedicated, thoughtful, never thought of herself but always thought of everybody else, worried and prayed for everyone in the school.”
Mourners are asked to donate to the First Baptist Church. The phone number is (607) 387-7705.
