For the second consecutive year, the Bombers placed second at this competition, finishing 17 points behind winner St. Lawrence University with a team total of 52 points.
Senior co-captain Lindsey Nadolski finished third overall, in the field of 97, with a time of 18:48. Nadolski finished third for the second consecutive year. Junior Melanie McCormick also placed in the top-10, finishing sixth overall with a time of 19:27.
The 10 runners for Ithaca all placed in the top-50, with the Bombers' top-five finishers placing within the top-20. Freshman Heidi Baumbach finished 12th overall with a time of 19:47, while senior Kasey Currier and junior Elizabeth Delong came in 14th with a time of 20:02 and 17th with a time of 20:13, respectively.
The Bombers will have this upcoming week to prepare for their next race Saturday at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship in Canton, N.Y.
