No. 8 Bombers improve to 6–0

The No. 8 nationally ranked wrestling team won two dual meets this week with wins over Rochester Institute of Technology and SUNY-Oswego.
On Thursday, the Bombers hosted RIT and won 32–9 to improve to 5–0 in dual meets this season.
The Blue and Gold won seven matches, with freshman Chad Condiorio (133 pounds), sophomore Blaine Woszczak (194 pounds), junior Willie Hortwath (157 pounds), sophomore David Priest (174 pounds), freshman Tom Heckman (184 pounds), junior Jamie Facneda (197 pounds) and junior Dave Sbriscia (heavyweight) all racking up victories for the South Hill squad.
Ithaca traveled to Oswego on Saturday and came out victorious by a score of 22–12 to improve to 6–0 on the season.
Woszczak upped his record to a team best 6–0 in dual matches by winning his second straight bout by technical fall.
Horwath remained perfect in dual meets this season too by winning his bout by a major decision.
Other winners for Ithaca were junior co–captain Chad Winowich (133 pounds), junior Anthony Lebbad (125 pounds), Priest and Heckman.
The Blue and Gold return to action Dec. 28 at the Sunshine Open in Lakeland, Fla.
