Bombers take second at TCNJ

The women’s track and field team finished in second place out of 13 teams at the New Jersey Invitational on Saturday. The College of New Jersey, the hosting school, was the only team finishing ahead of Ithaca.
Freshman Ashley Dlubac, who preliminarily qualified for nationals in the Ithaca Invitational, won the javelin. Dlubac has finished first or second in the javelin in each outdoor meet this season. Sophomore Marcia McCord won the 100-meter dash for the second week in a row qualifying her for the ECAC Championship.
Multi-event senior Lauren Koppel won the high jump and finished second in the triple jump. Senior Alison Siderko was the runner up in the high jump.
The next action for the Blue and Gold is at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Empire 8 Championships at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y.
