Rallying for Rosie

As if the Rosie/Elisabeth conflict wasn’t ridiculous enough, there is now an online petition to get Hasselbeck fired from “The View.” The petition, appropriately titled “Fire Elisabeth Hasselbeck,” has already collected almost 5,000 signatures — a number that seems to be going up by the minute.

The funny thing about the petition (or should I say the funniest) is its mission statement.

This petition calls for the removal of Elisabeth Hasselbeck from The View to ensure that all reasonable views can continue to be heard. If you support this effort, please add your signature below.

So basically, they want to cut out Elisabeth so that everyone’s view can be shared…except, without Elisabeth (she’s the token conservative of the group) everyone would agree. About EVERYTHING. And last time I checked, we only watch “The View” in hopes of catching the occassional bitch-fight. So I say Hasselbeck stays!
