Fly that Wendy’s sign at half mast today
An employee at a Wendy’s restaurant in Miami was shot today, while “trying to protect the chili sauce” (the AP’s words, not mine). Apparently, an angry customer at the drive-thru wanted more than the three allotted packets of chili sauce. When the manager came outside to explain that three was the regulated limit, the man pulled out a gun and shot the manager. Then he, and the woman in the passenger seat [who may or may not have been Birdie], drove off. Fortunately, the manager’s wounds were not fatal and he will live to serve the memory of Dave Thomas another day.

Methinks Wendy’s might want to reconsider their “three-packets-of-sauce-per-customer” rule…
I’m definitely not skimping on the sauce for the next few weeks at the Taco Bell drive through–yikes!
