La Chupacabra!

ay! la chupacabra!A woman named Phylis Canion in Cuero, T.X., claims to have captured a mythical chupacabra. She and a few friends reportedly found three “chupacabra” carcasses on the side of the road, and are now mounting their heads on their walls. They’ve been suspecting chupacabras to be in the area ever since 26 of their chickens were killed and had the blood sucked out of them.

This Phylis character seems to be forgetting that chupacabras eat goats, not chickens. Stupid lady. The search continues…

I showed this article to my husband. After looking at the pictures he came to the same conclusion I came to….that’s gotta be a dog. He said the thing looks alot like a bull terrior. For those of you who remember, this is the same breed of Spuds Mackenzie. If you google this lady you can find other articles and more pics and you’ll see that the animal she found would even be about the same size. Maybe it’s a b it mutated or maybe there’s a pack of them running aroun TX and they’ve evolved a bit. What do you think?

  3. Andy on September 22nd, 2007 8:39 pm

Wow, Crystal. Sounds like you’ve really done your homework :) And Spuds McKenzie was a little before my time, but I know who he is haha.

I guess it’s totally possible that there’s a pack of mutated dogs running around TX. I guess I never really thought about it. I’ll do some more research and see what I can find.

OKay, This could be true but im not sure. Im not saying that she really did find it and im not saying she didnt. But i have to do a paper on the Chupacabra. And honestly what she found just looks like a dog, Im not going to lie. So maybe if she could find one that is alive then i would believe this. And another thing, I thought that in the legend there was only one of the Chupacabra. Not several.

  8. Derek on February 9th, 2008 2:27 am

Marcus, what your saying is that this creature is supposed to be like immortal? all creatures on earth die sometime & need to breed to keep their race on earth and this creature is supposedly been here for hundreds of years so either its magical roadkill or theres more assuming the fact it is a chupacabra…

And score one point for Andy for making it into someone’s homework, however far off the mark ended up being.

I think that this subject is stupid. My family comes from Mexico and I have heard the story of La Chupacabra many times. Not one story is consistent with the others. According some stories the chupacabra is a vampire, others its bigfoot with fangs, and now the ever so popular dog looking creature. I don’t know whether its real or not. Therefore I don’t know what a chupacabra looks like. The one thing that I do know is that just because a pack of wild dogs slaughtered some livestock, it doesn’t mean it was the chupacabra. I mean seriously, no one really knows what they look like. Who’s to say that these aren’t just a pack of wild dogs or some creature that hasn’t been discovered yet. New creatures, insects, and plants are being discovered everyday. Who’s to say that this isn’t one of them?

Can you people really not spell, or is it that you’re just too lazy to find all the letters on the keyboard? Learn some english. The majority of the population (i know those were big words but stick with me) doesn’t speak ghetto, so if you want to be heard, at least use the vernacular (i know another big word) but please try to use proper english. It really isn’t that difficult.

Now for la chupacabra, and it is la chupacabra not el chupacabra. It isn’t mythical, that implies magical. It’s similar to what most people call the boogie man. I’ve actually had it described to me as the mexican boogie man. Its just something that parents used to scare their kids out of doing something. Yes i know it supposed to eat goats primarily and cows too. That head however is from a dog no doubt. And it looks to be in the process of decomposing, hence the lack of fur.

There may have been two and they may have mated and have blood sucking chupacabra babies, and the writer: very sad how you called her stupid, i am part mexican and i have been hearing about chupacabra stories since i was a little girl, they dont just eat goats because theres not always goats around and if so there would be very little goats in that area.
if so there have been other stories that they eat goats thats the myth but if you dig deeper it isnt just goats.

  19. blanca on September 19th, 2008 10:54 am

how do you know that the y mated and where did they come from

well i think that the chupacabra is an important issue and we should all be interested in its history and chilling backround! in other words i think that the chupacaba is a deformed/morfed vampire

  24. Matthew Diaz on November 20th, 2008 2:17 pm

Everyone should get together and kick Mike from Aug 2008 in the d***. Don’t try to correct anyone’s English when this high school dropout picked numerous errors from your half-retarded comments. One of the first lessons any of us learned is to capitalize the first personal singular pronoun (I know, more big words), otherwise known as “I”.
    Beeeeee-itch.

  26. Adam on February 18th, 2009 11:40 pm

And I didn’t even regard any of your lies, half-truths, and otherwise indiscernible remarks. You want to appear to be the smartest guy in the room, yet everyone around you actually feels smarter just knowing you’re here. Mythical in no way implies magical. It simply means ‘of myth’, which pretty much means there is no determination of truth. No one knows (except Mike, apparently). Try dictionary.com. I did, just so I didn’t sound like you. It’s got a thesaurus and everything! (No, Mike, it’s not a dinosaur.)

PS–Try writing on a Spanish-language website and see how well YOU do, a**hole. Not everyone’s primary language is English. Yours is likely something like Klingon or Ferengi, right?
