The Big Spoon’s 5 Most Foolish Fools of 2007
A pregnant teen. A couple of Disney bad girls. A billionaire with bad hair. A dearly departed crazy lady. And a fallen pop star. I certainly didn’t list them all, but here are five of the many people/groups that amused me in 2007.

5. Jamie Lynn Spears >> This one came as a surprise to me, and I’m the one typing! She was all but invisible to the world until December when the news broke about her pregnancy, then she was suddenly all people were talking about. I also love that the media is willing to overlook the fact that’s only 16 and is still putting her on “bump watch.”
4. The cast of “High School Musical” >> Between Vanessa Hudgens’ nudie photos and Ashley Tisdale’s nose job, Disney’s damage control division had their hands full in 2007. Then there was that story about Zac Efron being “too girly” for Vanessa which amuses me to no end. That being said, “High School Musical 2″ did break all sorts of ratings records and had a hugely successful soundtrack — so really, this is all just my jealousy talking.
3. Donald Trump >> I’m putting him on here purely for what he said on “Larry King Live.” They were discussing his feud with Rosie O’Donnell and Larry asked if Rosie came to Donald’s wedding. He responded, “Yes, she ate a lot of cake.” Brilliant! In fact, the whole feud was gold. Here it is in a nutshell:
2. Anna Nicole Smith >> Her death was tragic, but it resulted in some of the most outrageous news items of the year. Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern owe their 15 minutes of fame to her. And Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband claiming to be the baby daddy? You can’t make sh*t like that up.
1. Britney Spears >> The divorce. The shaved head. The cooch photos. The VMA performance. Is it any wonder she’s my #1? Plus she gave us “It’s Britney, bitch” — and she deserves a medal for that.
