About the author

Andy Swift is a senior journalism major at Ithaca College, with minors in writing and culture & communication. While he is currently the Online Media Editor for The Ithacan, Ithaca College’s award-winning weekly student newspaper, he has completed internships at Star Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter (both in New York and Los Angeles).

He knows absolutely nothing about sports and very little about politics, but would be more than happy to sit down and discuss other important subjects, such as the true origins of Alvin and the Chipmunks. (Seriously, why are they so big and human-like? And what compelled Dave, a talented musician and swingin’ bachelor, to adopt them?)
