When it was first announced that Legally Blonde was being turned into a Broadway musical, no one could believe it. And now, with the big opening in New York less than two weeks away, it still remains a mystery as to why anyone thought this would be a good idea. Broadway.com released a video montage of some of the musical numbers. I don’t know what’s worse: Paulette’s bizarre pop-rock rendition of “Bend and Snap” or the fact that there’s an entire song called “Ohmigod!” Oh yeah, they also made Emmitt a frilly little girl. Somewhere Luke Wilson is crying and looking for comfort in his brother’s curvy nose. Check the video out for yourself. Have a favorite bad lyric? Let us know! I know I’ve got one. And I thought Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde was bad…not that I saw it…of course not.
