not showing at fashion week?
What do you all think of Vera Wang, Carman Marc Valvo, and Betsey Johnson not showing at Fashion Week??
where can i get one of these?
Meet Dr. Anthony Walker and his home is a tribute to his wife and to God. Upon entering, guests are greeted by sparkling chandeliers and a v100 foot hall with 22-foot-high coffered ceilings in gilt and lacquer. “The walls are embellished with gilt cherubs, roses, feathers, foliage and birds. Enormous and richly hued paintings in elaborate jeweled frames depict romantic, mythological and biblical scenes.”
I’m obsessed with all things Marie Antoinette and this dude’s house is straight outta the late 1700s. I’m so jealous, where the hell can I find a man like this?? Anyone??

k. smith and yung berg
Saturday night, I had the granddd opportunity to hang out at a music video shoot for K. Smith (Will Smiths cuz) and Yung Berg (hey sexy ladyyy..) in the Valley. They did like four different shots and it was a really good time - probably something I won’t get to do again.
Watch out for K. Smith’s album - this video was for the track, “Feelin On You.” He has a track coming out with Omarion within the next couple weeks - I think he’s pretty good! Check him out.

my apologies.
Sorry it’s been a while - we’re all busy this time of year no?
madonna for louis vuitton
Madonna got paid a pretty penny to do the Louis Vuitton Spring campaign. They’re kinda sick. She looks good - bag looks hot, what’s not to love? Madonna and LV are perfect brandmates. Louis Vuitton represents all things luxurious, and Madonna is a mega superstar. I think much more fitting than J. Lo. I did like their old campaign where it was less fashion and more comfort and utility, but these ads are cool. Sick shoes.

apple lounge
Here’s a review I wrote last week for the new Apple Lounge in West Hollywood.
In August, the celebrity clad Apple Lounge opened on 665 North Robertson. The venue, split into two different destinations consists of Brian Ogden’s Apple Restaurant and Allison Melnick’s Apple Lounge.
Apple Lounge is small, about 150 in capacity, and show up early for this one with good rations, unless you know someone because the lines looked miserable. We showed up around 11 p.m. and met our contact at the door and once in the darkly lit room with low ceilings, people were already on the dance floor with drinks in hand.
Black leather seats line the Manhattan-esque club in West Hollywood and a disco ball in the shape of an apple separates the lounge from the bathrooms. And although the club itself is small, it doesn’t feel constricted inside (probably the reason for the excessive line). It doesn’t actually feel like a lounge, it’s definitely more of a club scene inside, but there’s always the option of taking a break at a table or outside in the cozy smoking lounge. In addition, Lady Gaga’s Thanksgiving Eve performance at Apple makes it seem even less of a lounge.
There are two bars, one located in the main room and the other in the back near the outdoor smoking patio – both were easily accessible and efficient with no complaints.
Drinks kept flowing while the DJ spun from the booth above the bar, which made most of this night a drunken, but extremely fun blur.
The crowd was friendly (minus one minor altercation between a friend and a not-so-friendly chick) and good-looking overall. My girls and I didn’t spend a dime and really enjoyed Apple’s aesthetics and expected the obvious sparkler or two when bottle service was ordered.
I’ve only been on the scene a few months, but I cannot emphasize enough that your best bet of getting in is knowing the people at the door or looking extremely hot and showing up with no dudes. Since the club is only open three times a week, Saturday is probably your best bet. I found the entire staff to be welcoming, but have heard stories. I have no qualms with Apple but I can understand it’s poor reviews. Don’t take it too seriously, if you get it – great, if not try Coco de Ville.
Apple Lounge, located at 66 N. Robertson blvd. is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 9:30 – 2 a.m. For reservations call: 310.358.9191 or e-mail info@applerestaurantlounge.com

romance for s/s 09
I know it’s probably hard for you to imagine the likes of warm weather or sun in Ithaca, but check out this trend for for Spring/Summer 2009.
ROMANCE is in the air: Big ruffles, rosette clusters, and delicate capilets are the trends fashionising.com observed through the collections of Cavalli, Chanel, Nina Ricci, and Dolce & Gabbana.
It’s gonna be hard for me to get away from the BLACK/rock trends from the fall, but feminine is always perfect for Spring…if we ever get there. It was actually kind of chilly today in LA…weird.
