Obamatube

In an election year where the internet has played a bigger role then ever before, it’s only fitting that we should find this video peaking it’s head. In case you’re wondering I am an Obama supporter, but even if I weren’t I would be somewhat taken aback by this video. Hip? Check. Well produced? Check. So issue free that it’ll be hard to say anything bad about it? You bet.

As I post this, it has been viewed 2 million times. Wanna bet that it’ll be breaking 8 digits very soon?

The greatest resource of any country is not the oil or the minerals or the mountains or the water, or the air, or the earth or it’s forests or it’s wildlife. It is the people. People are the root resource of a country. And like any resource as dynamic and powerful as people, it must be encouraged, nurtured and must absolutely have the maximum freedom possible, short of destroying the environment or hurting people, so that the true resource of people can be developed. Creativity. All the really cool things that people have are from the root activity of creativity, whether it is fantastic seemingly impossible athletic stunts on motorcycle, bicycles, scate boards, surfboards, etc. or it is the creation of technology, the discovery of science, the growing of businesses, which payS for everything, EVERYTHING, !!!EVERYTHING!!! Or the creation of such a huge variety of great music, and lousy music, or poetry, or novels, or sculpture, paintings, comedy, movies, plays, etc, etc, etcetera. People are THE root resource. And you can either nurture them or exploit them. Only one will work well. The other will cause huge suffering. The guide is wisdom. The tools are knowledge and the team. And it takes courage to make a better world. Good luck Obama. I hope you win. You have a young creative mind, and you seem to have some wisdom.
