Remember when they used to talk about how extraordinarily thorough Obama's vetting process was? Yeah. Not looking all that thorough.

so what about when oil runs out...then will you use ethanol.

Oil is a trillion dollar industry protected by those who themselves are waist deep in the money they make from it. Is it not obvious that there are political forces on both sides of this argument. The oil men discrediting ethanol and scientists retaliating against them.

I for one would rather have ethanol and biofuels so we can have a country not dependent on the corrupt oil business.

Take this example into consideration: Chicago's elevated transit system was established some time in the 1950s. Houston TX dubbed "The Energy Capital of The World" because of the vast energy industry there established the beginning stage for such a transit system in 2003. Why? because the oil men have their hands in the government and didn't want public transit to take the place of a gas powered motor vehicle industry.

Would they discredit biofuels and ethanol( made from corn) because it has a larger carbon footprint or because it can infringe on their monopoly? One answer is right the other is laughable if not appallingly studip.

This is no grounds for boycott. its merchandise that someone will buy and enjoy. If you want someone to boycott look at more pertinent issues like one of our on campus food providers. Sodexho Marriott is a company providing our fabulous dining food, they also provide food for certain prisons. Coincidence...i think not, thats also why the directly financially fund for-profit incarceration. this industry costs taxpayers thousands a year to keep people in jails owned by private corporations who turn a profit from this.

Dont boycott adidas for this reason, i have others too numerous and expansive to be in a comment, but boycott Sodexho who make money off our tax dollars by putting your neighbors and friends in jail. And look at the statistics...its mainly nonviolent crimes these people are being convicted of.

Any company that will sell this garbage is not a company I will support with my consumer dollars.

Those that think it is "cool" need to pull their head out of the orfice it is residing in and read a little history. The communist government in the former Soviet Union murdered countless innocent civilians.

It is not cool to support murder.

A hat that promotes communism is one thing. A hat that shows support for a murderous faux-communist regime is another. What is there to love about Stalin?

You should protest all adidas product. They sponsor Russia, Cuba, China, North Korea, and Iraq. Call them the axis of evil brand! Of course, most everything you own is made in China, so maybe you should look at yourself before throwing stones…

Well some scams can look legit in advertising; the fact that they bought cheap memorabilia is not as important as figuring out how these people can get their money back.

And Obama made history, one of 4 black senators ever and the only African American President to date. I rank that higher than other figures accomplishments, who are on American coins like William McKinley and Grover Cleveland who have landed their faces on the 500 and 1000 dollar notes. Would you put Woodrow Wilson's face on currency and not Obama's? Well he's already got the 100,000 dollar note in his name, why cant people be assured in their investment in an Obama coin when Presidents with lesser accomplishments have their faces on coins that were actually spendable at one point in time. I believe that warrants him getting his face plastered on a coin. The real shame is not how naive these people were, but how despicable the system is that won't allow them relief for an obviously misleading economic venture.

I agree. After hearing Obama's inaugural speech I found myself applauding at some of his statements like confronting evildoers overseas and honoring the names of our veterans, two statements that conflict with what other liberals are saying and hoping Obama would repeat. This just goes to prove that the far left is just far too idealistic for serious consideration in American politics.
