South Hill squad focuses on offensive execution

Scoring three goals in a span of seven minutes to win its season opener 4–1 Saturday against SUNY-Morrisville, the field hockey team demonstrated how its offense will change the style of play this season.

The field hockey team played their first home game of the season Saturday against SUNY-Morrisville. The Bombers defeated Morrisville 4–1.

The field hockey team has already established that this season will look nothing like last year’s. The Bombers have reshaped their squad after the graduation of five seniors and the addition of nine freshmen, taking the field this season with a new formation.
