The perfect match

Despite being on the varsity football team’s roster last season, junior Adam Bienstock did not receive any playing time. However, he has found a way to leave his own legacy as a Bomber.

When the football team announced next season’s captains at its banquet Feb. 4, junior linebacker Will Carter was in shock. He had been chosen to lead the Blue and Gold despite missing four games during the season.

The football team fell to SUNY-Cortland 27–3 in the 53rd annual Cortaca Jug contest today at Butterfield Stadium.

Though the football team is out of the playoff race and the SUNY-Cortland Red Dragons need help from other teams to earn a postseason birth, Saturday’s game between the two teams will be a clash between rivals with a burning desire to win.

Football: Blue and Gold’s comeback falls short

Alfred University senior quarterback T.J Kilcarr passed for 211 yards and two touchdowns as the Saxons beat the Bombers 21–19 Saturday at Butterfield Stadium. It was Alfred’s first win at Butterfield Stadium since 1982.
