The football team fell to SUNY-Cortland 27–3 in the 53rd annual Cortaca Jug contest today at Butterfield Stadium.

Though the football team is out of the playoff race and the SUNY-Cortland Red Dragons need help from other teams to earn a postseason birth, Saturday’s game between the two teams will be a clash between rivals with a burning desire to win.

Football: Blue and Gold’s comeback falls short

Alfred University senior quarterback T.J Kilcarr passed for 211 yards and two touchdowns as the Saxons beat the Bombers 21–19 Saturday at Butterfield Stadium. It was Alfred’s first win at Butterfield Stadium since 1982.

Until this season, the football team had not lost three games in a row for more than a decade. But now, the Bombers’ streak of 40 consecutive winning seasons is in jeopardy.

Football: Blue and Gold drop third straight game

The football team (3–4, 1–4 Empire 8 Conference) lost its third straight game today in Utica, N.Y., falling to the Utica College Pioneers (5–2, 2–2 Empire 8 Conference) 20-15.
