Squad storms its way to another title

Unusual weather circumstances and a slick running surface were not enough to slow the men’s track and field team down as the Blue and Gold fought through the wind and rain to win their sixth consecutive Empire 8 Outdoor Track and Field Championship this past Saturday.

Athletes escalate conditioning for outdoor season

Though some of the 21 field athletes on the women’s track and field team have a one- to two-week break following the indoor season, they must begin a taxing period of adjustment before competitions move outdoors.

The men’s track and field team will rely on senior leadership and team depth to bring home its fourth straight New York State Collegiate Track Conference title.

Junior sprinter Clay Ardoin and freshman sprinter Kevin Davis traded their helmets and cleats for batons and shoes when they competed on the men’s indoor track team for the first time this weekend.

For most Ithaca College students, the end of April is the signal to hit the books and prepare for exams.

Always in season

When the soccer season ends, most players on the Ithaca College soccer team stay off the field until the sport resumes in the fall. But for two of the freshman sprinters on the men’s track and field team, a full season of playing for the men’s soccer team has helped them perform on the track.
