Commentary: Food regulations across the pond and the difference they make

One year ago, I made the decision to study abroad for three months in Barcelona, Spain. I was yearning for a change of pace and new experiences, people and cultures. Most importantly, I was over the moon that I was about to experience a plethora of European cuisines in the places where they originated.

Participants had the option to send a postcard directly to the FDA in protest of the discriminatory policies that restrict people with specific sexual histories.
A group of Ithaca College students and alumni are covering themselves in fake blood for a photo campaign called My Blood is Good, protesting what they say are discriminatory blood donation guidelines by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
