Over the years at the Roy H. Park School of Communications, many sports media students have gained experience in the field by covering the Ithaca College sports teams. However, some have had the opportunity to take their craft to the Division I level.
This week on 'How IC Sports,' host junior David Schurter interviews junior journalism major and women's track sprinter Carolina Cedraschi. The two discuss Cedraschi's experience producing a documentary last spring on mental health in althetes and as a producer at ICTV.
In mid-to-late August, audition season starts in full force across Ithaca College. During the beginning of each fall semester, students prepare for auditions throughout the Dillingham Center, the Roy H. Park School of Communications and in dorms for a wide plethora of open spots in a cappella and dance groups, ICTV shows, plays and music ensembles.
When the clock hit zero at the end of the fourth quarter, the Bombers had come out on top for the 38th time in the rivalry’s history with a 34–17 win at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
Ithaca College announced that the 2022 Cortaca Jug game will be broadcast live on YES Network. In addition, the game will be moved up from 1 p.m. to noon Nov. 12.
Since 2019, the Ithaca College Esports Club has appealed to casual gamers who just want to have fun, as well as competitive gamers who enjoy the thrill of tournaments.
