The Ithaca College School of Music, Theater, and Dance’s main stage fall production is Disney’s “Newsies.” The show runs from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1 with a preview held Oct. 25 at the Horener Theater in Dillingham. 
Anne Hogan joined Ithaca College as the inaugural dean of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance (MTD) on Aug. 1. She most recently served at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee, as the dean of the College of Communication and Fine Arts.

The first phase of the APP included the elimination of 116 full-time equivalent (FTE) faculty and 26 majors, departments and programs. The second phase will focus on reorganizing and restructuring different academic areas, including moving the theater department into the School of Music.

Ithaca College senior Karly Masters is learning two new instruments, trombone and French horn in F, this semester. She said that this has been difficult over Zoom because her professors cannot hear her play as much.
