Ithaca Police Department investigates sexual assault

Ithaca police are investigating a complaint of sexual assault reported from the Hudson Heights studio apartment complex on Coddington Road on Saturday.

The suspect is a 30-year-old black male about 6 feet tall and weighing about 270 pounds with small dreadlocks on the back of his head, and he was wearing eyeglasses at the time of the crime, according to the report.

The complainant said the suspect was a recent acquaintance with the first name Stephon.

There will only be one navigator to start, but if the position is well received, there might be more added.
