Today’s top news and events

1. Anthony Di Renzo, associate professor of writing, will give a reading from his novel “Trinacria: A Tale of Bourbon Sicily” at 7 p.m. tonight in Klingenstein Lounge in the Campus Center. The novel tells the story of the Italian War of Unification, which caused the destruction of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies in the 19th century. After the reading, be sure to check out our interview with Di Renzo in this week’s issue of The Ithacan.

2. Regal Cinema at the Ithaca Mall will host an advanced screening of “Robocop” for Ithaca College students, faculty and staff at 7 p.m. tonight. Tickets are free and available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and they’re available for pick up in the Dean’s Office of the Roy H. Park School of Communications.
