Keith Mclntosh to become chief information officer

With more than three decades of experience in the information technology field, Keith “Mac” McIntosh will succeed Ed Fuller as Ithaca College’s new associate vice president of Information Technology Services and chief information officer beginning Aug. 25.

Mclntosh will work with the IT project management office to improve the college’s information technology capabilities, services, facilities and equipment.

McIntosh has been vice chancellor for information technology for the past two years with one of the largest multi-site community colleges in the United States, the Pima County Community College District, in Tucson, Arizona.

While serving 25 years in the U.S. Air Force, McIntosh held multiple leadership positions with management authority over IT departments. He has also served in several regional and national leadership roles with EDUCAUSE, a nonprofit association with a goal of advancing higher education through use of IT.

Currently, McIntosh serves as the chair of the advisory board for the Center for Higher Education Chief Information Officer Studies.

Fuller retired this past January after 39 years.
