SUMMARY: Officer reported a person inside the closed building. One person judicially referred for trespass. Patrol Officer Steve Rounds.

Accidental fire alarm
LOCATION: Fitness Center
SUMMARY: Simplex reported gas detector fire alarm activation caused by fumes from the floor re-finishing being done. System reset. Master Patrol Officer Bruce Holmstock.

SUMMARY: Caller reported three people inside closed building. Officer reported two people issued warnings for trespass and one person judicially referred for failure to comply. SUMMARY: During a vehicle stop, officer reported marijuana found. One person judicially referred for unlawful possession of marijuana. Patrol Officer Steve Rounds.

LOCATION: The Office of Public Safety
SUMMARY: Park Police reported person arrested for DWI and requested DMT test be completed. Ithaca College officer performed breath test on defendant. One person processed for DWI arrest. Master Patrol Officer Don Lyke.

SUMMARY: Officer reported a person checking doors to residence halls and academic buildings. Officer warned person that campus was closed and not to attempt to gain access to buildings. Sergeant Terry O’Pray.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an MVA may have occurred Dec. 29, 2013 involving a bus. Officer identified the driver and vehicle. MVA report completed. Sergeant Ron Hart.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a broken water pipe inside apartment. Assistance rendered, building secured after repairs and clean-up was made. Sergeant Dirk Hightchew.

SUMMARY: During a traffic stop, person found to have suspended license. Officer issued the operator uniform traffic tickets for the Ithaca Town Court for expired inspection and aggravated unlicensed operation with warning for expired registration. Patrol Officer Jon Shingledecker.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported fire alarm activation caused by control room freezing. EH&S took zone off line. System reset. Fire Protection Specialist Mark Swanhart.

SUMMARY: After further investigation regarding the suspended license reported this date on 96B, officer found driver was not suspended.  Aggravated unlicensed operation ticket rescinded. Master Patrol Officer Chris Teribury.
