Student cyclist hit by car

An Ithaca College student riding a bicycle was hit by a car in front of the college at the intersection of 96B and Alumni Street.

There were no life-threatening injuries to the students involved, Terri Stewart, director of the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management, said. The bicyclist suffered minor injuries and has already been released by medical officials. Public Safety is looking for witnesses to determine the cause of the accident.
