Two burglaries reported in Hilliard Hall

The Office of Public Safety is investigating two incidents of burglary in Hilliard Hall, which were reported on Friday.

A Public Safety Alert was sent to students and staff on Friday night, informing the Ithaca College community of the burglaries in two dorm rooms.

According to the PSA, money and electronic devices were taken from the rooms, neither of which showed sign of forced entry. Both incidents occurred between July 14 and July 26. The PSA said that it is unknown if the two incidents are related at this time.

The alert reminded members of the college community to lock their rooms and apartments, and to immediately report any suspicious activity to Public Safety.

Anyone with information should contact Public Safety at 274-3333 or report anonymously at 274-1060.
