Second to none: Senior expresses herself through music

Senior K.C. Weston has been involved in music at the college through IC Voicestream and her indie-rock band, Second Dam, throughout her four years. After graduation, she plans to continue following her dream of being in the music business.
The Dock, a music venue and bar, opened Feb. 24 on the southern tip of Cayuga Lake. It aims to provide an upbeat atmosphere to customers and host concerts for local and signed artists. The first band that performed was M-Eleven.

Dan Mills ’07 will return to Ithaca College to perform with Dan Mills and the Fairweather Band at 7 p.m. March 27 in IC Square. Mills is also an actor and was an understudy in Broadway’s “Million Dollar Quartet.”

Singer to return to alma mater with folk band

Seniors Mark Slotoroff, Jake Alvarez, Wade McManus and Will Shuttleworth rehearse in their house on East State Street. The band released its first album on Feb. 18.
