Performing Arts for Social Change (PASC), a theatrical group at the college made up of students and Ithaca community members, hosted a workshop Sept. 5 in Studio 3 of Dillingham Center to teach acting techniques and exercises based on the Brazilian writer Augusto Boal’s book, “Theatre of the Oppressed.”
With the release of his sophomore attempt, “Always Strive and Prosper,” the self-proclaimed lord of trap music, A$AP Ferg, shows off a more lighthearted and honest side to his music.
Lean’s third studio album, “Warlord,” is no exception. Released Feb. 25, “Warlord” is both an expected and refreshing mix of Lean’s signature, heavily synthesized sound. Throughout the album, Lean’s, monotone voice dominates each track, making the entire thing hard to listen to all at once.

With the help of professional new music performance group Ensemble X, ICU Sound Works, which will hold its first performance at 8:15 p.m. Oct. 30 in Ford Hall, integrates students, faculty and professional players.
Hollenbeck will perform with his Large Ensemble at Ithaca College on Oct. 19. The 19-piece big band, composed of New York’s top professional musicians, will play at 7 p.m. in Ford Hall.
