Resident Assistants feel increased stress due to COVID-19

During the first in-person semester since the COVID-19 pandemic, some Resident Assistants have said they have felt increased anxiety and stress in their roles as both authority figures and students.
Scott McWilliams, director of Dining Services, said dining halls and other food services plan to return to operating like they did before the pandemic. 

College begins planning for in-person Fall 2021

As Ithaca College students, faculty and staff continue to get vaccinated, the college is planning to return to a pre-pandemic fall semester.

At the Ithaca College Library, a small but growing collection of personal letters, pictures and videos of life during the pandemic is being collected and archived by Bridget Bower, librarian and college archivist, who serves as the project’s administrator.

Staff and students at Ithaca College are working together to create an archive documenting community members’ COVID-19 experiences.
Ronald Trunzo, associate director of the Office of Residential Life and the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards, said that since Jan. 1, there were 115 people who used the Community Agreement Reporting Form to report violations.

Large groups of unmasked students are part of a list of community violations that pose a danger to the community because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The college informed students this clinic will not be available for Fall 2022 because of the many locations in the community offering flu vaccines.
