IC alumna killed by falling tree in Queens, NY

Pregnant Ithaca College alumna Yingyi Li-Dikov, M.S. ’08 is killed after being struck by a falling tree in Kissena Park in Queens. Li-Dikov is a 2008 graduate of the college's now defunct master's degree in sport management program.

College announces plan to move Rochester PT program to South Hill

Ithaca College announced Wednesday that the Rochester, N.Y., component of its Physical Therapy program will be moved to the college’s South Hill campus in Fall 2014.

Ithaca College seeks to prepare students academically for the new economic and political frontier of China, with new courses, study abroad programs and the IC 20/20 strategic plan.
Peter Rothbart, professor of music theory, history and composition and chair of the Faculty Council, said the academic programs should not be changed.
