Field hockey drives toward new conference glory

Coming off a 2020 that halted all fall sports, the Ithaca College field hockey program has earned back-to-back trips to the Liberty League playoffs the past two seasons. However, there is one thing that is still missing: a Liberty League Championship.
Senior Arla Davis, former sports editor for The Ithacan, was a member of the Ithaca College field hockey team for all four years of college. Following the end of the 2022 season, Davis joined the women’s track and field team as a thrower, a sport she had not competed in since she was a sophomore in high school.

Each year, the NFHCA recognizes 60 all-star senior athletes across all six national regions to compete in an event designed to showcase high-level field hockey stemming from all over the country.

The Ithaca College field hockey team capped off its regular season with a dominant 4–0 shutout over the Nazareth College Golden Flyers on Oct. 26.

Field hockey sets sights on conference and national titles

After a trip to the Liberty League Championship game in 2021, the Ithaca College field hockey team is looking to improve its success going into the 2022 season.

Six Ithaca College teams set to appear in postseason

As the fall regular season winds down for Ithaca College Athletics, postseason tournaments are set to begin, and six teams are looking to bring home a Liberty League Championship.
The Ithaca College field hockey team is 12–3 with two games left in the season. The team recorded seven straight wins earlier in the season, the programs longest win streak since 2000, and is undefeated in Liberty League play.
