Football rolls past Rochester in Liberty League win

The No. 12 Ithaca College football team defeated the University of Rochester Yellowjackets 56–10 Oct. 8 at Butterfield Stadium on Oct. 8. The victory improves the team’s record to 5–0 on the season. 
The 2022 Cortaca Jug game, held at Yankee Stadium, will be broadcast on YES Network, according to statements by Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland.

2022 Cortaca Jug game to be televised on YES Network

Ithaca College announced that the 2022 Cortaca Jug game will be broadcast live on YES Network. In addition, the game will be moved up from 1 p.m. to noon Nov. 12.
Supporters of Ithaca College sat in the cold and rain for the 2021 Cortaca Jug game, the first one held since the 2019 contest at MetLife Stadium. The Bombers lost to SUNY Cortland 28–27 on Nov. 13.

As Cortaca draws closer, reactions to the venue remain mixed

Football blows out Hobart in Liberty League opener

The No. 13 Ithaca College football team defeated Hobart College 31–7 Oct. 1. The victory in the squad’s Liberty League opener improves the program’s record to 4–0 on the season.
The 2022 Cortaca Jug game will take place at 1 p.m. Nov. 12 at Yankee Stadium. The college will also be hosting IC in the City, an alumni reunion and Cortaca 22 festivities throughout the weekend. Tickets will be available for $28.50 located in the designated college section at the stadium.

Former IC defensive coordinator named new head coach of football program

Michael Toerper has been selected as the next head coach of the Ithaca College football program. 
Sophomore Jalen-Leonard Osbourne set a new program record in the 60-meter dash Feb. 5 with a time of 6.78 seconds. It was the fourth time he set the record.
