The Ithaca College women’s soccer team suffered its first defeat of the season Wednesday, Sept. 14, when they fell to the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons 2–0 at Carp Wood Field.
When Alexia Michitti, who was born with no right hand, was cut from a middle school basketball team, it was the first time she was told she could not do something because of her upper limb difference.
As the fall regular season winds down for Ithaca College Athletics, postseason tournaments are set to begin, and six teams are looking to bring home a Liberty League Championship.

The Ithaca College women’s soccer team has started its season by winning all four of its games. Senior midfielder Megan O’Reilly has played an integral role in this impressive start.
The Bombers have been scheduling difficult non-conference opponents in the beginning of the season for the past few years. These tough teams have helped the women's soccer team prepare for the challenges of the Empire 8 Conference.
