College releases new diversity, equity and inclusion statement

Ithaca College has released an updated diversity statement that reflects the goals outlined in the college’s strategic plan, Ithaca Forever. 
The virtual open-conversation session was led by David Lissy ’87, chair of the board of trustees, and James Nolan ’77, vice chair of the board of trustees. About 55 people attended the event.

Ithaca College President Shirley M. Collado updated the campus community via email Feb. 17 about the discussions that occurred at the annual Ithaca College Board of Trustees meeting Feb. 12–13.
This is a 2.95% increase from the $45,275 tuition for the 2019–20 academic year, or $1,336 more. The percentage increase for the 2020–21 academic year is the same as the percentage increase for the 2019–20 academic year, when the dollar amount of the increase was $1,297.

The Ithaca College Board of Trustees set the tuition for the 2020–21 academic year at $46,611, a 2.95% increase from the previous academic year.

According to the email, the moves address the goals of advancing the Campus Master Plan in the college’s five-year strategic plan.
