Retiring music professors bid farewell to college

Many of the faculty in the School of Music have been teaching for over two decades. For two of them, this year will be their last as full-time professors at the college.
Tanya Saunders, assistant provost of international programs and extended studies, said Ithaca College is planning to cut more than half of its study abroad programs for the 2017–18 academic year. Currently, the college has 249 affiliated study abroad programs available to students. The revised list has 68 total, 22 of which are new programs.

Ithaca College to host 18th environmental film festival

FLEFF is a local annual film festival in its 18th year and has been sponsored by Ithaca College since 2004. This year’s festival will include films on several topics, ranging from New York City rooftop farmers to the crisis in the Congo, all under the umbrella theme of habitats.

Retired math professor emerita passes away

The Ithaca College community is saddened by the loss of Shirley Hockett, retired professor emerita of mathematics and computer science and one of the college's most well-known supporters.
