Harriet Malinowitz, lecturer in the Department of Writing, published an article in Slate Magazine, “Sexual Harassment Happens Between Lesbians, Too” June 12.
It’s nothing extravagant. We’re asking government officials to count us, to see us, and to consider our community’s unique characteristics and needs. Is that really too much to ask?
Religion often serves as something people can turn to when they need support, and the Protestant Community has failed to create that atmosphere among all of its members.
Students at the college have shared that they have felt excluded or ostracized from the Protestant Community, also known as the PC, for being part of the LGBTQ community.
