Ithaca College track and field and cross country hold annual alumni events multiple times per year. The upcoming Boston University Valentine Invitational on Feb. 9 will mark another event that will bring alumni and current athletes together.

Alumni outreach keeps track and field running

Ithaca College prides itself on alumni relations years after a student graduates. The college hosts annual alumni weekends, invites alumni to speak to students about their field and successes, and provides a safe space where they are always welcome regardless of how long it has been since they have been students. Following in this spirit, the men’s and women’s track and field teams have gone to impressive lengths to harbor a strong tie between their current and previous athletes. 
The Ithaca College womens basketball team has had 13 or more steals in five of their last seven games and in that time have compiled a 6-1 record behind fast and gritty defense.

Defense defines driven women’s basketball squad

The Ithaca College women’s basketball team is now holding a record of 13–3 and have been dominating Liberty League play. Through that run, the Bombers’ staunch defensive effort has been on full display.

Young blood forms the backbone of rejuvenated men’s basketball

Last season, the Ithaca College men’s basketball team heavily relied on their upperclassmen, with four out of five starters being seniors or graduate students. However, this year, much has changed, with many underclassmen shining for the Bombers. Now, the team holds a 10–6 record and had a 9–3 start compared to the team’s 7–5 start last season.

The Ithaca College women’s basketball team fought its way past the University of Rochester Yellowjackets in a 62–54 battle Dec. 6 en route to their sixth win of the season.

Bombers drop 64th annual Cortaca Jug in offensive battle

The Jug is returning to Cortland, New York, as the Ithaca College football team dropped the 64th annual Cortaca Jug to the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons by a final score of 38–28.

Bombers look forward to 64th annual Cortaca Jug game returning to Ithaca

For the first time since 2017, the Cortaca jug game is returning to the South Hill for the 64th edition of the “Biggest Little Game in the Nation” as the Ithaca College football team welcomes SUNY Cortland back to the Ithaca College campus.

Women’s swim and dive sets the tone under new leadership

Since 2017, Ithaca College athletics has competed as a member of the Liberty League. During this time, the college has won several Liberty League Championships across every sport in every season. The women’s swimming and diving program is one of those perennial championship teams and this season, they are looking to win their fifth straight Liberty League title.

Men’s soccer’s second half surge leads to win over RPI

The Ithaca College men's soccer team faced the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Engineers on Oct. 28 at Carp Wood Field. The Bombers secured a crucial 2–1 win to secure the No. 3 seed in the Liberty League and advance to the Liberty League Championships.
The Ithaca College volleyball team runs on to the court to celebrate its four set victory over the University of Scranton. The victory is the sixth straight for the Bombers.
