Commentary: Radical Communion in the Face of Austerity

We  should be looking to the brilliant, beautiful, steadfast students who are being told these cuts are being made in their names.
The Contingent Faculty Union urged the college’s administration to be creative in its attempts to save money amid the COVID-19 pandemic and to support contingent faculty members, who are most at risk of being laid off.

The only protection faculty at IC have against destructive top-down management decisions is to stand in solidarity with one another.

Commentary: More contingent faculty deserve recognition

It would be wonderful to see more awards go to contingent faculty this year, but that can only happen if you — yes, you! — nominate someone who’s touched your life.

Commentary: Part-time faculty deserve equitable pay

It is not surprising that an institution as reliant on underpaid workers as Ithaca College is resisting challenges to that business model.
