Ithaca College business professor dies

Michael LaTour, professor of marketing and law at Ithaca College, died “peacefully at his home” Nov. 8, according to a Nov. 13 announcement by the college.

H&S and Park School faculty recommend no confidence vote

In the wake of faculty discussions about initiating a vote of no confidence in President Tom Rochon, two out of five schools have voted for recommending Faculty Council conduct a vote, while one has voted against holding such a vote.

Ithaca College Business School renames student investment fund

The Ithaca College School of Business has renamed the student-managed portfolios from the Ithaca Real-Time Fund to the South Hill Fund.
Benjamin Rifkin, provost and vice president for educational affairs at Ithaca College, will resign July 31 and return to teaching. He joined the college in June 2015.
