Wrestling sees fresh faces in conference competition

The Ithaca College wrestling team is looking to build upon a second-place finish at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships and fight for another chance at a national title.

Women’s basketball looks for vengeance in conference competition

After its loss in the Liberty League Championship last season against Skidmore College, the Ithaca College women’s basketball team is coming back to try and redeem its title shortcomings. After only losing by two points in that Liberty League title game, the team plans on not letting that happen again.

Women’s swim and dive sets the tone under new leadership

Since 2017, Ithaca College athletics has competed as a member of the Liberty League. During this time, the college has won several Liberty League Championships across every sport in every season. The women’s swimming and diving program is one of those perennial championship teams and this season, they are looking to win their fifth straight Liberty League title.

Football decimates Saints to complete Liberty League sweep

The Ithaca College football team defeated the St. Lawrence Saints by a final score of 51–14, the win earning the Bombers a second straight season of sweeping its Liberty League opponents.

Field hockey raises awareness through dedication game tradition

For the past two years, the team has chosen three games each season to dedicate to a charitable cause — whether it be athlete mental health, chronic illness or equity and inclusion. This season, the team showed its support for the KyleCares Foundation on Sept. 13, LGBTQ Pride on Sept. 27 and multiple sclerosis research on Oct. 7.

After dropping its home opener, 3–0, against the Kean University Cougars on Sept. 1, the Ithaca College field hockey team went on to earn two victories on the road before finally bringing one home.
