Neuroscientist Oliver Sacks leaves powerful legacy behind

What I find to be most influential about Sacks, though, is his influence on the general public. He was able to make neuroscience accessible.
Alison Parker, late news reporter for WDBJ news, died on-air in a shooting in Moneta, Virginia, along with WDBJ photojournalist Adam Ward. Parker and Ward were the seventh and eighth journalists killed on the job in the U.S. since 1992.

Sophomore Luis Torres worked with Do Something to petition for the changing of the dictionary definition of the word nude in Merriam-Webster. After seeing the support, Merriam-Webster altered the definition to be more inclusive for people of color.
