A student reported Saturday that an unknown person had stolen a purse from an East Tower room.
Investigator Tom Dunn said the incident was reported around 8:40 a.m. Saturday morning, but the burglary occurred sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning. A search of the dorm indicated no force was used to enter the room.
“We do have a few potential leads at this point, [though there’s] nothing we’ve been able to verify,” Laura Durling, assistant director of Patrol and Public Services said.
Durling said Public Safety had no tips about the burglary, but that they will remain optimistic.
